Switchback question
I read a post where it was said that it is way to expensive with the electronics and set up to do after the fact. Should buy it from the start.
Makes sense but don't now for sure.
The FLD probably will stop fine without it. Remember the old days with drum brakes in the back and NO brake in the front?

if you want ABS I $uggest you buy it from the get go and not try and ad it later.
I know what its like to lock the front brake at freeway speed in a panic stop. Ive also low sided a bike from locking up the back tire while trying to avoid a car that pulled out in front of me.
Ive never had abs but cant help to think it could have saved me some damage

"The FLD probably will stop fine without it".
What I mean is that our FLD is criticized for having weak brakes and needing dual discs up front.
I had a fading front brake for a while, but after I had the front master cylinder replaced (recall) it stops great.
I have not ridden one without ABS, so "probably" stops fine - you tell me.
Still a great bike!
