I just got back from my first evening ride on my 12 SuperGlide. Man does this headlight suck. Has anyone tried this light? http://www.adjureinc.com/pnt50100.html
try a new bulb... after about 2 weeks of ridin home at 11 at night after 2nd shift, i changed mine out to a Sylvania Silver Star and adjusted my light up slightly to give me slightly better distance viewing
Make sure it is the Sylvania SilverStar "ULTRA"! They are the brightest! The will be in the GOLD colored package not the silver colored package (they are just the plain SilverStar bulbs).
i went with the GE nighthawk Platinum bulb in mine about a mont h ago HUGE difference. got a &" housing so will be doign the 7" LED upgrade over the winter which shoudl be worlds ahead of the Halogen bulbs even more so. if you ca nswing it i would recomend it as well

Suppose to be getting my stuff to do that for xmas from son. Have you checked out the new TruckLite Phase 7 light?
Exact fitment HID kits can be had for around $150-$250 pending the finer details, brand, etc.. I got a Silverstar Ultra the first week I got mine earlier this year, adjusted the lamp to where I wasn't looking 4 feet in front of me, and have been satisfied ever since. BUT that doesn't mean I don't want a light that can burn retinas or shoot down gov't satellites with the high beams.
I swapped the bulb in my Dyna and got rid of the diffuser so there is a bit more light but I am going to an HID when I get around to it. Here is what I plan on using. http://conelysaccessoriesusa.com/all...eatured&page=2
I was contemplating passing lamps too but with my fairing it will difficult to mount them.
