so i have to say i am new to the forum..and new to harleys...just bought my 07 superglide a few months ago..and working on my winter setup. Live in pit so its cold enough to park the bike and wrench on it for the winter.
Heres the setup taht i like...and yes i think i want to keep my speedo for now where it is if i can....would i need new risers??
i bet they are probably sportsers or standard wide glide bars, but i wasn't sure and thought my brothers on the forum could help me out. thanks for all of your help.
btw...you all got some sick bikes on here.
If I understand what you're saying, you want that bar setup? No you don't need to eff with the risers, unless you wanted them taller. You're going to want the Pro Tapers like stated above, and patience.... gotta internal wire those. If you're not willing to handle it yourself, you might wanna look into a indy in the area that'll do it for yah. Not too tough, if you're decent with wires.
thanks guys...i appreciate the heads up...i had pro tapers on my other bike that started w/ an H...but i know i cant mention it on here
wiring bars is a PITA, but it does look quality.
im a shade over 6 foot...and i wonder if it would put me leaning over too much...anyone have this setup that is a lil bit taller? is it comfortable?
