they sell the damn things so why would they void warranty! Like said above install the pc and take it off when you go to the dealer if you are worried about it.
If you got the PCV from fuel moto and told em you had a canned map installed from the dealer, they added a map for that application.
I have been using a pcv for 5 years with on ill response.
They are easy to remove.
The Dana's must be different than the touring bikes. I just added one to my 2012 SG and all I had to do was not to connect the 02 sensors, no eliminator was needed or included.
Big improvement, a lot less heat, and my mpg is still good.
Thanks for everyones input. I did put it on and noticed more popping than when I didn't have it on. Am I supposed to install the o2 sensor bypasses also? Also with the stage 1 ECM upload from Harley, is that going to be an issue with the PCV on?

You def need to do the o2 sensors. Its super easy, just have some zipties handy if you dont want to remove the old stuff.
The pc can be configured to work with the stage 1 ecm but dynojet/fuelmoto needs to know specifically that u r doing this. I adjusted it myself, but lots of people seem to have good experiences calling them for fine tuning too.
Also, the HD tuners 'marry' to your specific bike. That alone was enough to turn me off to their product. I love my pc3
The PCV is not the best choice in tuners because it stays on the bike. There have been many issues from owners after thier bikes got wet or just plain out failing. You already bought it so you may as well use it.
Does anyone have any tips on getting everything tucked in and out of the way during install? Again, its a pain in the A$$. Also, anyone have any suggestions on keeping it dry?

I velcrod it under the stock ecm. I didnt velcro onto the ecm itself but rather the left wall of the assembly which holds it. The pc3 instructions said to velcro onto the ecm but that would block its heat disappation fins. Pc5 is smaller so this spot should still work.
I picked up a 1ft usb extension cable also, because yanking it out of there every time to reprogram is a bitch.
Finally, small comfort but i wrapped my pc3 in cellophane and duct tape. Not bulletproof, but an improvement. Also silicon sealed the extension cable to the device.
It is a pain in the *** in there, and the poster who mentioned the superiority of tuners you dont have to mount like this does have a point. Still, i prefer this way- now i can pop off my seat, extension cable is right there and plug in the laptop. Easy mode.
Great info. Now I feel more comfortable about putting it on my bike. Thanks to everyone for their input.
Did you buy this thing used or something???? The PCV comes with very detailed directions on proper installation including how to make the plugs fit behind the electrical box.
Also, anyone out there reading this who is considering the PCV. BUY IT FROM FUEL MOTO....their customer service and knowledge is awesome. If you buy from them you will not have any of the problems or confusion that the OP is describing because fuel moto will help you every step of the way. They will map it for your setup, and they will stick with you until everything is 100% right.
No disrespect to the original poster, but I hate to see threads that make a good product seem sh!tty simply because the poster lacks directions or purchased their product used at the swap meet and now they want to know why it isn't working.
Are there better tuners out there???? Hell yes there are.....but for guys like me running simple mods like pipes and A/C, the PCV is more than adequate.
