It's not going to be as good as a full system but if money is a question can get some good slipons for sound for now and buy the full system later. On the others have to get a full system to get rid of cats or try to cut them out. I like my slipons but will eventually go to a full system.
any good site to get that power vision tuner? also, i'm guessing that if i buy one of those and map it according to my equipment that i won't have to have the dealer do their download, correct?
Get the PV from Fuel Moto. They are a site sponsor and offer free maps whenever you make changes. They are also cheaper than most. With the PV, you won't need to get the dealer download. It also has an auto tune which can get a decent tune without having to put the bike on a dyno.
Fuel Moto for the tuner. They are a dyno shop so the "caned map" is one from their dyno work. I would go with a full system for exhaust. I had slip ons then shorts and now 2:1. Should have saved some money and got the 2:1 to start with.
Wait for a full system. I don't have any experience with the fuel pack either. Intakes are a horse a piece. Enjoy the ride and congrats...on both accounts!

I ordered mine from FuelMoto. They will send you the power vision with a map for your setup already on it. Its just plug and play. They also have GREAT!!! customer service and tech support. You can either mount it to the bike or plug it in, load the map, and take it off. I have a set of Python staggered pipes on my 06 Street Bob, and they are loud! I also got the SE Stage 1 AC.
Sorry to hear about the divorce and hope no kids are involved. Enjoy the bike. The PV is a fun toy.
Yup, 2 kids but they are doing very well with it. Me and the ex keep it very civil to make things as normal as possible. They are my #1 for sure...new bike will be #2.
Anyway, I'll check into that pv, but now I'm having an exhaust issue. U guys kinda talked me into getting a full system rather than slip ons, but now I can't find what I want. I loved the look of the v&h straightshots but called v&h this morning and they said they no longer make them, an are not compatible with a 2013 sb. I was so bummed. Now I can't find anything that compares, and those were the exact size and length I was wanting. I don't know what to do, and I don't want to settle for something because it will bug me to death if I don't get the exact look I want. I also somewhat question the knowledge of the rep I was talking to be cause he told me they would only fit an 05 sb....but if memory serves me correct, they didn't make it until 06. When I questioned this he said, errr, that's right, um they only fit up to 2011. But then it looks like a 2012 in the picture on their website. If someone could give me a for sure answer on that, I would appreciate it. And I like the regular straightshots, not the straightshot originals. It's to the point that if I can't put those on my bike, I will probably just go with python slipons strictly because I like the look. Any help here is appreciated.
