Hello to all from Michigan, new to Harley Davidson ownership, my 5th bike overall, I recently purchased is the Dyna Super Glide Anniversary edition. I am excited to be a new Harley owner and I hope this bike rides as good as it looks. I live in Michigan and have not been able to ride it yet, bummer, but what do I need to know about the Dyna line being a new owner? Thanks, Mark

Welcome to the family. You will love the Dyna. Scour this forum and you will find all kinds of information about what others have done and where to get parts. There is an infinite resource of parts on the web. Word of advice: Plan your mods carefully so you don't end up doing things twice. When you first get your bike you "think" you know what you wanna do. Then as time goes you learn. Most of all, Ride safe!

Exactly this.
Do a lot of reading and research on here and you will learn a LOT.
Advise...after doing a lot of research and reading, save up and do what you really want the first time. Don't do something because it's a cheaper option only to end up spending money for something twice down the road (ask me how I know this). Plan ahead....something you don't think you want now may be something you want in the future.
For example, I decided to just do slip-ons when I bought my bike new last year to save money & I thought that's what I wanted.
This winter, I decided to do cams....so I did, then discovered that my slip-on exhaust was worthless performance wise & ended up putting on a full 2-1 system which was very expensive. I could have done the exhaust right the first time & went with a full system & saved myself a lot off expense and trouble.
The more you ride and research, the more you will understand what you want your bike to be.
