Default Dash removal

I was wondering how to remove the dash on the tank on my 2012 wide glide. A fellow forum member was interested in swapping his black dash for my chrome one and neither of us are real sure how to remove the consoles to make the swap happen.. Thanks

Lol is it really as simple as that. Nothing to pull no seal to risk breaking or anything?

you need to take the seat off to hit the lower bolt, but from what i remember, if you take the 3 bolts out, the dash comes off no problem.

Be careful not to scratch your tank when you lift the dash, the main wire will most likely (mine was) be anchored to the tank with a little plastic retainer, after that unplug all the wire connections and the reset switch on the left side just unscrews from the outside.
