Does anyone know how to remove a dash panel insert ,.I just got a dash but the carbon fiber is pretty dull so I was thinking of painting it to match the candy apple red that is going on the rest of the bike this weekend.
If possible I want to remove the insert without damge.
Is this possible?

once you started to pull on one of the sides,use wd40 or penetrant oil and pull.should come easy

 

Use heat gun first,will be easy when warmed up

 

I had a feeling it was going to involve heat of some sort.

I just grabbed the corner and it popped up..
