Default dyna tail light

New to the forum have an 07 street bob looking to change out the tail light and the licence plate bracket. not shure if I want a lay down plate or a swing arm mount. also want to know if there any sleeker looking brake lights out there. has anyone removed them completely from the fender. thanks

there's an opening in the phender behind the light. it takes some serious modification to get it off the phender.

there are different options for mounting the plate, either laying down on the phender, or mounting it on the shock mount.

as far as tail lights, there are a phew different makers of the laydown variety. Kuryahkyn is probably the most well know brand.

interested to know as well. I have been looking at the kuryakyn smoke laydown led brakelight. I did end up ordering the kuryakyn laydown license plate holder/frame that will curve over the fender. They have pics up on thier site (haven't recieved mine yet, but as soon as I do I will post pics for you guys).

lolife, that rear fender/light relocation looks sick. nicely done

Kury...
low profile, smoked....no load equilizer...15 minute install....works great
I have a 2005 with the wide glide rear fender so license plate was not an issue for me.
isn't it odd that the rear fender on the wide Glide is called a bobtail rear fender and the rear fender on a bobtail is just a fender......Hmmmmm?

Stewart,
Bike looks awesome. What kind of side mount license plate did you get? Patchthanks for the info. Gonna roll over to the website and look for it. I think their website could be a little better in search terms, but who am I. Thanks
