Hi guys – looking to the community to see if you can help resolve an issue regarding aftermarket (or OEM) risers for a ’08 FXDL.

I’m installing Bungking's T-bar style bars that have a 1.25 inch “cross bar”. These bars use the handlebar clamp, as opposed to bolting directly into the top tree. I need to get a pair of 1 inch straight risers, because the stock ones are about 4 inches tall with tons of pull back.

Also, I wanted to keep the stock top clamp, because it has a little window for the console lights (or as some in the community call them, “idiot lights). The big challenge is that this FXDL top clamp doesn't feature the more common off-set pattern, rather it uses the 3.5 inch “square” pattern, so I’ve haven’t been to find simple 1 inch, straight risers.

I think my options are:
1) find 1 inch risers that fit the 3.5 “square” OEM top clamp
2) use 1 inch risers for the more popular off-set pattern, but then find an alternate (i.e., easy) way to accommodate the console lights
