Cable Kit for 16" Apes

Cable Kit for 16" Apes
Anyone have an opinion on the Burly Brand kit or the LA Choppers kit that jpcycles.com sales? or does someone know of a better cheaper alternative?

Ive heard more bad things about the Burly kit than the LA choppers kit... I think I read that the Burly kit is pretty much the same thing as the stock cables but longer (rubber sheaths, not "pretty").
I just ordered some apes myself and I'm going to wait until I can measure the length needed to make an order, but as of right now, the LA choppers kit is #1 on my list (only cuz money is tight... if I could afford em, I'd go Magnum)...
Anyways, I'm subbed to this thread. I also want to know know what others with experience will say about the kits...

I got Black Pearl Magnums, VERY nice product.
Black Pearl HE Clutch Alt (+10) - $79.95
Black Pearl Throttle Alt Cable (+10) - $59.95
Black Pearl Idle Alt Cable (+10) - $59.95
Black Pearl Front Brake EZ-Align 50" - $69.95
CUSTOM Rear Brake Kit 08 Soft (23" front) - $132.95
So, without the rear brake line, you're looking at about $270 for Magnums, add another $35 for wiring extensions if you don't want to cut/splice'm yourself.
I should have the 16" Gangsters on this weekend

I ordered a kit from custom chrome, when it came it turned out to be a la chopper kit. all the cables were barnet cables except for the brake hose. The brake hose did not have a manufacture name on it. Real nice kit.
