So I'm new to this site but have been here as a reader a lot. Love this forum. Anyways, as the title says, I have a 2008 Superglide and I'm wondering what kind of things people have done or would suggest doing to similar or the same models. The first thing I'm looking to do is putting on some tall apes. I'm thinking of getting Santee chrome 17" apes and braided stainless cables from HD. So if anyone has any advice or experience with these let me know! I'm also looking to move my signals down to the triple trees and clean up the bars a bit. Another question, does anyone know of a company that makes 21" front wheels for these bikes? Or if there is a way to do that? Sorry for the million questions I'm just looking for some general feedback I guess!

 

in my humble opinion, i would do some cheep mods like bars, seat, pipes. and thro the most of your cash into engine, suspension and brakes.
have a solid engine built so it's fast. duel disc the front so you can stop and defiantly upgrade the front end. e.g.. progressive springs and race tech gold valves. the front end up grade is so worth it. it will make your bike handle way better.

had apes took them off, very uncomfortable on longer rides if you only ride short distance they might be ok,
