Fxdx fairing help

Looking for advice on fairings. Trying to decide between hd quarter or rifle roadster. Any experience good or bad? Looks and also function opinions? Experience with mounting the rifle to an fxdx, cause some pics online looks like there's a gap around headlight.

I just put the HD 1/4 on my fxdx and love it. Besides it looking killer it did take a decent amount of wind off my chest. The rifle is a great fairing but much better suited for the 06+ bikes with the 49mm front end. It sticks out really far on either side of the forks on the 39mm narrow glide front end. I can post pics of the 1/4 fairing later if you want I'm at work now.

I use the small sporty Memphis removable shade on mine because it goes on and off so easily, does a good job, is tinted on the bottom and isn't really noticeable, which i like.
