Wanted to post some before & after pics of my wide glide conversion.
My bike is an '02 Lowrider. As you can see from the "before" pics I've already done a few things to the bike like removing the headlight eyebrow, etc.
Basicly the conversion is to a stock WG front-end. WG triple trees were purchased off ebay as dealer take-offs so I could retain my fork lock. The fork tube assys. & front wheel are from an 05 FXST and the solid black rear wheel is off an 0'-something Night Train purchased from members off various H-D websites.
I've got more pics of the actual tear-down illustrating some of the things you will find when you pull your wiring out of the back bone & such. It's not as mysterious or difficult as some might think. It is a pain in the butt pulling & then stuffing the wiring back in, but it is quite doable by the average Joe. I'll post the other pics when I can organize them with some text as commentary.

What's goin on with the (dual??) passenger foot perches??
Shoot! Winter project?! I'm in Arizona, this was a weekend project. Actually I started working on it at 6 p.m. Fri. night, finished up getting everything buttoned up except for putting the wheels on & bleeding the front brake at 5:30 a.m. Sat. I looked a bit like this when I finished up[sm=insomnia.gif]. Slept till about 10:30 a.m. & woke up to get the wheels on & bleed the brake. Had a hard time getting the brake bled, gave up on it late afternoon & let it sit til Sun. afternoon. I went at it again, bled a couple more small bubbles & all of a sudden the brake started pumping up & all was good. Test rode it at 6 p.m. That's it, all finished. Been riding ever since.
The dual passeger pegs are made by http://www.pegrizer.com/ they give the wife an extra foot position for longer rides. The ones for dyna's look alot better than the ones on their main page.
Impressive. nice work. Great planning to have all the correct little pieces together to do this in one shot - many would be short a wheel spacer or something little that would delay the project.
Do you have the block under the jiffy because the WG front is longer, makes the bike taller, which makes it lean over more?
You might want to consider putting a standard SG jiffy on in place of the LR jiffy, it will stand up more. Should be pretty cheap on ebay.
