Default intake installation question

ok so i was starting to install my arlen ness stage 2 big sucker and while removing my stock intake i noticed a plug which appeared to be for a sensor connecting to the back plate of the stock intake but where it plugged into the stock back plate was noting it was a closed piece of plastic and doesnt appear to be sensing ****.. and i am not sure what its for or what to do with it since there is no where to connect it to the arlen ness intake .. it looks as if it plugs into a dead connection cause nothing is in there and there is no opening for it to do anything from what i can see,, does anyone understand what i am saying ?? lol best i can describe it and if anyone has an '11 fxdc and upgraded your intake then you know.. im sure its the same on most dyna's ... if anyone can help me out that would be great

On some models that plugs into the back of the factory air leaner housing. I believe it for CA models but may be for overseas versions.

there should be a plastic piece on the wire which clips into the back plate. if it isn't there just zip tie it out of sight.
