Default Dyna engine cutting out

I hadn't had my 2001 Dyna Wide Glide for quite some time and the last two times I have taken it out, my engine is cutting out. It runs fine with the choke all the way out but when you push it in, it starts cutting out and popping. I keep it on a tender when not riding and put some Sea Foam in the tank today but, the same thing happened. Runs okay at high speeds but, when you start to let off the throttle, it starts doing it again.
Thoughts, suggestions?
Thanks.

Use Techtron in stead of sea foam.

You probably have junk in your float bowl and/or Your pilot jet is plugged

Air leaks in your vacuum lines is a possibility.

Thanks for the help/suggestions. I'll give them a try or have the mechanic do it so I don't screw something up.

As suggested, Chevron Techron works much better then the Seafoam. Also with the engine cold, start the engine and at idle, lightly mist WD-40 around the intake and note if rpm's change, may indicate a vacume leak. Clean and tighten battery cables. Install a new pair of stock Harley plugs. Try revving the engine and closing the choke as rpm's are dropped. Do this several times, may back flush carbs. If you stored it with ethynol fuel in the tank, you may want to drain the tank first and install a fresh tank of fuel before you do any of the above. Ethynol fuel does not store well and attracts water and goes stale quickly.

I've also heard that if you have any leaks in the exhaust, like the gaskets where the headpipes bolt to the engine being bad or the nuts holding the exhaust flange to the engine being loose, that can cause spitting and stuff like that.

I just a problem with mine last week, your symptoms sound very similar to mine. It idled rough and and was missing at low rpms, and would clear up at highway speeds. When I pulled the plugs one of the ceramic insulators around the electrode had broken loose and slid down blocking the spark path

your pilot jet is plugged, if it sat for a while and it runs fine with the choke on and at higher RPM then most likely old fuel has gummed up the pilot get. just pull the float bowl of and you can remove the pilot jet with a small flat blade screw driver and soak it in some carb cleaner, then blow it out with compressed air, then if you can see thru the center of it its clean, put it back together and ride away. takes about 15 minutes
