Default Rough Estmate?

So this weekend my 06' Street Bob sheared off all 5 bolts holding the rear sprocket/pulley assembly totaling said parts and my belt. I'll be having my local independent shop do the repairs but I was wondering if anyone in the know or with similar experience has a rough estimate at what I'll be looking at?

I can't tell ya, but if it were me I would be asking the indy. Just so there won't be any surprises.

Well it's getting an estimate tomorrow, the big issue is how much damage was done. To my novice eye it seems just a new pulley, sprocket, and belt, but I'm being hopeful

No clue how it happened, belts never been touched since I've owned it, heard a rattle on the highway, started to pull over and the rear tire locked up for a sec, barely managed to keep it up

Ronnie's part finder gives breakdown on parts. Usually replace both sprockets on this type of job, I would think. Probably charge a couple hours labor. http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche....-AND-SPROCKETS

Its important to preflight these bikes. They vibrate and crap comes loose. Takes no time to do it.

I'm sure this is a good idea. But how many times have you checked the torque values on the bolts holding the rear pulley on your preflight inspection?

Were they the original bolts and sprocket, or chrome bolts and sprocket?
