After going back and forth between the Custom Dynamics and the BAL, I've decided on picking up a BAL (with license plate light). But, I can't decide between the laydown/squareback/smoked options. Anyone got some side profile photos to help compare?
Also, is anyone currently giving the discount that was floating around for awhile?
I got a BAL for my Road King and really like it, so I think you'll be pleased with your choice which ever way you go. I got one for the king w the license plate light. Sorry, no pic available.
I ordered mine from Hampton Roads HD (in VA, I think) and got a pretty good price. Called the parts dept late on Friday afternoon and got a discount. I had read this on this forum and was told to ask for.....I can't remember his name.....and he told me to call back Friday afternoon and he'd get me a discount.
Thought it was kinda weird but I followed his advice, called back on Friday afternoon and got a very good price shipped to my house. Good deal and quick shipping.
I like my BAL and would put one on every new bike I ever am lucky enough to call mine!
I have the lay down non smoked one with a license plate light. It is significantly smaller than the stock square back light. Much sleeker. I have a hog pro lay down plate mount and it shows up well with the BAL.
