Default heel rests

I want to use a couple of shifter pegs as heel rests for my 05 wide wide glide.
Can this be done?
If so, how?
thanks

+1 on the DK heel rests. I have 'em with the trap shift pegs and they keep my boot heel firmly in place.

If you have mid controls, be careful how close you place them to the shifter...unless you want a heel shift.

I guess the heel rest brackets go in-between the pegs and the peg brackets and the shifter pegs (if I choose) screw into the ends ??

Yep, they insert between the peg and clevis. Adds about 1/2" to it. The DK rests are adjustable to different angles and have a set screw to lock them down.

FWIW, I like my Kuryakyn ones but I have the stirrup just a bit from level similar to a floorboard. I didn't like them at a 45.

I've had them on for a couple years and maybe 10K miles. They work great for me!
