have not rode tested yet might be able to test tomarrow will let u know I have all 20 disk on there now and wll order the open end cap see what that does might have a pro pipe for sale though Thanks everyone
Sorry did not read all the way I really liked the power and the sound of my pro pipe my muffler got scratched and I got talked into the supper trapp but will see how this pipe works out I can say the workmanship on the VH is way better than the ST
I went from V&H to Supertrapp for two reasons, V&H was just too loud for long trips and visits to National Parks and I wanted the most recommended tune-in 2 in 1 for the bike. The Supertrapp is a great exhaust, the open end cap equals 20 plates in loudness and in back pressure, I run 20 plates on a 2002 Dyna wide glide, stage 4 built by Star racing, 98cu, Mitsumi 45, ported heads etc, 120hp, 105fp at 3500rpm. That's all the air Supertrapp can handle. Quality could be better, a bit of yellowing at the joint, sound is very good, but definitely not the traditional Harley and does not give the roar when you gun it like a V&H. If I could stand the noise, I would probably rethink the process, but ST makes good sense for under 100cu displacements. Hope this helps.
Surprising. I have the Pro Pipe but with the quiet baffle. For the first 1000 miles, I really thought it was too quiet. After break-in and a total of 6k miles, the idle is still relatively quiet (sounds good but doesn't wake the neighbors), but the sound at normal operation is what I would call medium. It has a nice roar, but not excessive. Definately not too loud, but also not what I would call quiet (except the muffled idle.)
