bored as all hell
i never thought i'd say it but...
it's too damn hot to ride.
took the bike to work on wednesday, the way in at 0700 was bearable. no traffic and it was only in the high 80s.
the way home?! holy ****...100+ with bumper to bumper traffic. i rode the shoulder the whole way home.
took it out yesterday and rode down by the beach...no relief there either. even down by the shore, the air hitting your face was hot.
so the bike stays put in the shed today. and i'm here on the couch bored as hell.
guess i'll go get drunk.

Ha, I had this exact thought today (right before a trip through nevada I might add)
I had a couple errands I needed to run, got out on the bike 100 degrees outside, went down got some gas and turned right back around and went home, planning on going back tonight after rush hour. It sucks baking in the heat stuck in traffic. I dont blame ya one bit.

Good for you! I have to mow about a foot of grass from all the rain! But!! I will ride at some point!

God... just rain and heat, rain and heat. Then it will be winter... and we'll say how we can't wait to get out in the sun again... ah the cycle of never being satisfied continues. At least you can drink in all four seasons.
