Harley-Davidson Engine Guard Kit 49010-93 will work with forward controls. This is what I have on my '01 SG.

I have the HD engine guards on my 07 super glide and they work with my forwards controls.

I was told because of frame changes it's a different guard for 2006 and later.

Have the Engine Guard Kit 49010-93 (for FXDWG) on my 03 Super Glide. Attach at the bottom with U-bolts, which some do not like. Painted the U-bolts black and am ok with them now.

Default 05 and earlier dimensions

Don't want to hi-jack the OP's thread but seems to be the perfect place to ask....
Wife has a 08 Low rider which I put the earlier (03)dyna police boards on.
Now want to add the engine guard.
Question to anyone with the earlier frame is what is the width of the frame were the forward board brackets (or foward control brackets) mount.
Also, Distance from the upper bracket bolt center the the upper hole were the engine guard would mount.

Thanks..
