Default New Dyna Guy

Finally after all these years I upgraded from a Sporty to a Dyna (2010 FXDC). Bone stock. Will be upgrading exhaust first (Thunderheader) and change air filter. Trying to sort out the validity of running with or without a tune, map, xied's, xyz's, etc. I ride ride daily, and cruise on weekends wit da fella's. Mahalos for any positive input! Aloha, Bo.

Welcome to the Dyna Family! Having moved from a Sporty (9 years) to a FXDC myself, you're going to love it.

Welcome! You are going to want some sort of fuel management system. Plenty of threads out there on the subject, have fun reading. My .02, I first went with the Dobeck TFI, which worked well, but I later upgraded to the Power Vision. I wish I would have just gone with the PV in the first place instead of spending money twice.

Congrats and welcome! You will get lots of opinions on if you need a tuner or not. If your not planning any internal engine mods, I would try the xieds first.
