These tires are better than the Pirelli rt66 I had last year. But they are not good enuf. They get squirrelly when I run out of tread in a corner. I'm thinking on trying this: Avon Front AM41 Venom X 110/90H-19
And this:
Dunlop Rear GT501 140/90V-16
Anybody with experience using either of these?
Do they work well in corners?
My thinking on one size wider for each is extra bulge might provide more ground clearance and further tread wrap around for better side traction.
My stock Dunflops did that. Since then I have been running Pirelli Night Dragons (180 rear). Will never run out of tire now.
Is you still lowered? If so I can see why you won't run out of tread.
Thanks for the tip on the night dragons. Their tread pattern looks good. Tho' maybe not much further wrap than what I have.
As for condeming all dulflops bcuz stock tires were not up to par, well you know they make diff tires right?

From your photos, you haven't even worn the "nubbies" off the outside edge of the tread on your old tire, so I'm thinkin' that further tread wrap won't do you any good.

You right, pretty new tires nubbies still there. look further to the edge, thats where I was riding and drifting, shredding the edge.
I'm running the Avon AM41 110. I replaced the rock-hard stock Dunlop long before it was worn out. Everything about the Avon is way better. No problems with the front end washing out. Then again, I don't know how hard you're pushing it.
BTW, on the back I have the Avon Ultra Storm II, liked the first one enough to replace it with the same.
