I know its been mulled over before here...but one of my favorite things about going to the softail section is to check out the individual model catagories for new bike pics. Its great to see bikes evolve as their owners change bits here and there...SoI was wondering if they can have all the sub-catagories, why the heck cant we??? I think it would be great to have a catagory for each model Dyna i.e.: Superglide, Superglide Custom, Superglide Sport, Lowrider, StreetBob, WideGlide ect....
Anyone else think this is a good idea? I think it would encourage more pic posting from owners.
Dynas do not vary much from one to the next - blacked out engine on one, more rake on another, not really that different. The Softail is comprised of 2 main groups, those without floorboards (std, deuce, night), and those with floorboards (fat, heritage, etc). Throw the Springer into the mix and these are really much different machines with different issues. Dynas share most parts and are very similar.
i second mainhd idea. Ideas like this have been brought up before anda lot of people seemed to have beef about it. most dynas are a lot the same, but different in their own way. I think it would be a nice idea. Maybe even leave up the whole pics section that everyone posts pics of their bike and start a new section with the different subsections and let the mass decide where they want to post somthing. It would also be nice because if you saw somthing on a particular dyna you wouldn't have to search through the whole big section, if they were seperated you could find it much easier.
I just started a response - but before I finished - I went to the softail forum to check it out - All it has are different sub-forums for pictures, not information.
What you really want is a different sub-forum for pics of each model, not differnent sub forums for general material?
