Default Goodbye Dyna
Goodbye Dyna, hello Slim. I traded my 2006 Dyna in for a 2014 Softail Slim today. I had fun with my dynas but I wanted to get back on a Softail and I realy like the Slim. It has that old school look plus I got a good deal.

Those new slims are pretty good lookin. Its hard to tell in your pic but, it looks like you've got that new polished silver trim on the cases right? Not quite a brushed aluminum, or a chrome.

I really like those Slims. I almost bought one last summer, but I dragged the footboards on the test ride, so I decided to keep the Street Bob. I've been reconsidering that decision, though. Let us know how it works out.

Yes the outer primary, the cam cover and, the trans cover are in the polished aluminum.

It looks even better in person. I've had black bikes for a long time now and it's good to have one with some color to it again.

I've put about a hundred miles on it and haven't scraped anything yet. I have been easy on it for the break in but with that fat front tire it sure does turn in easy.

I'm probably going to go with a blacked out exhaust and tuner. I don't know which ones yet but theres plenty of time to think about that.
