If you make the image full size you should be able to see the difference between my mid pegs and highway pegs. Highway pegs mount in the same spot as forward controls.
Cheers, that looks further forward than I want. I need to move my controls forward about 8 inches, just hoped it would be easier to put standard fwd controls on
Try and get into a dealer and sit on a wide glide to get a feel, i know on the wide glide i could still go another 2" further on the stock forwards at least, i am 6' 2"
Question: what is your inseam?
I am 5'7" and using the reduced reach adapters on both of my Dyna bikes.
I added a heel rest to them and I am very comfortable.
The seat you use can also be to a benefit or make the reach worse. Depends on what you have.
I am using a C&C seat with back rest. I made my own mounting bracket-easy to do.
Now it fits me great.
