I agree. I'd hold off on changing the plugs and wires until you isolate the issue.

[QUOTE=JonV;11784365]In response to a two points, as stated in the OP bike is Stock. No code indicated by the security "Key" light.

The Security Key Light is for Security. The only time my Key Light was flashing was when the bike was moved and the Fob was not near by. It does not light up if there are any stored codes. You will have to check manually for any codes.

That, or a hole in the fuel line in the tank. I doubt it's plugs and wires.

Whoa.... this is sort of embarrassing... This Spring I changed my fluids, the previous fall I had my bike in the shop and was charged for an air filter while having repairs done. Apparently they did not change the filter. A friend suggested I check the Intake.. he was right, I can't believe the condition of the filter. I was thinking it was only 11 mos old... put in a new one and it runs like a champ.

Lesson learned. Now you know to check your bike after it's serviced. Better yet, get a manual and do the work yourself. Start with the easy stuff. Changing an air filter takes about 5 minutes.

Yeah, I've done the filter before before and did it this morning, threw in plugs this afternoon and Fat wires. I do my own fluids because on other occasions I've come up a bit light from a dealer.

Thats why I do my own services, the dealers/shops don't always do what they are supposed to do/charge you for.

my bike (07 wide glide) just did the same thing on the 21st during a benefit ride. i just assumed it was water in the intake from letting it sit out in the rain uncovered. guess i might want to check my filter.
