Default Starter issues
When returning home from a ride on my 2010 Fat Bob I started to hear a noise so I killed it right away. This is what I found. When I turned the IGN switch on and toggle the off/run switch to the run position the starter try's to engage. What is the cause of this and what is the fix?

Having the same problem. Did you find out what it was?

If he did he's kept it a good secret for 15 months That was that member's first and only post.

Maybe he's, you know,....dead.

Starter relay. Mine did the same thing.They are like $3.00 at the dealers

Also I have heard that the handlebar switch can fail, as if you were hitting the starter switch constantly. But I'd check the solenoid first too.
