Default Winter care?

New guy here with another question.

I'm thinking about not winterizing my 2013 Street Bob on the off chance that we get a few rideable days per month over the winter. You just never know, and I'm considering investing in some heated gear to up my odds.

If I do that, how often should I start it up and how long should I let it run in case the weather stays too bad to ride? Is there anything else I should do when I'm just occasionally riding, especially over the winter?

I keep it in an unheated, detached garage that is not airtight, so it's exposed to the ambient temperature and humidity, though not to the elements.

If its to cold to ride dont start it, all your doing is inviting condensation. Add some fuel stabilizer and plug it into a battery tender. Storing it somewhere damp can also cause problems with corrosion. What ever you do dont ever cover it with anything that cant breath.

Wise words. As suggested , do yourself a solid and try to find a heated winter home for that baby!
You should at least keep the tank topped up with the appropriate amount of stabilizer.

Good addition to the already good advice. If a lift isn't available, roll it around every couple of weeks to prevent flat spots on your tires.

Also, keep your air pressure in check. Extreme cold will lead to low tire pressure and contribute to flat spots.

Full tank of treated fuel(I prefer Seafoam), plug into battery tender, and keep proper air pressures in your tires. That's all.
Anything else is unnecessary. It will be fine.

I agree with all of the above
top the tank off and add fuel stabilizer, put her into a warm spot
keep it on a battery tender
you might also want to clean and put a heavy coat of wax on her to reduce any corrosion
