I did a search for the bct baffles and found alot of info. They sound like a good deal and was wondering if the guys that have had them installed for awhile were still happy with them?
I installed them last May/June and love 'em. To be honest after installing them in SEII, I almost thought they were too loud, but they've grown on me. The bob runs and sounds bad *** and am glad I got them.
They might **** the neighbors off at 0600, but if I'm up they should be too.
I got mine in the mailWednesdayand installed them that evening. I am running SEII's
Due to bad weather (4 inches of rain) I couldn't test them until last night. Went for a 30 mile ride just to see how they sounded.
They do sound deeper but I don't think they made it any louder than before.
i've had them for a few months now and i'm pretty happy with them. i used to think they were on the loud side but i ride with a guy w/ sampsons w/o baffles and he's definately louder. don't get me wrong, they're plenty loud and the idiots know i'm there!!
they are kind of tune-able too. i turned them so that the baffle was on the engine side of the placement/holddown screw (if that makes sense) and the tone came down a little but the power seemed to come up a little.
I like mine ok, but does any one with stock SEII baffles want to turn loose of . When I took out the stock ones the wife thought they were trash and throw them away.
If you like the new baffles can I buy your original SE2 baffles? A buddy of mine punched mine out for me as a "gift" and now, wellllll, now they sound like &*(*&^
