Default Brake Lines?

I have an 04 FXDXI with braided brake cables running DOT5 fluid. I bought the touring brembo master cylinder/caliper set up for my bike which calls for DOT4.

Can I just flush my lines with DOT4 when I install the brembo set up or do I need to bite the bullet and renew the cables?

I heard the two fluids don't play well together?

Thanks
