Swingarm Bolt Removal
I'm about to replace the swingarm bearings on my 07 Dyna.
I have the service manual and note the need to remove the exhaust etc. It says nothing about removing the inner primary case. If the bolt is seized then it looks like its going to be difficult to drive the bolt out without removing the IP case. Needless to say, this is a lot of work and I rather not have to do.
My question is:
Do you have any 'top tips' for removing a late model Dyna swingarm bolt WITHOUT removing the inner primary case? Is it usually necessary?
Advice based on experience would be greatly appreciated.

Hello scotsport,
Have you ever had a satisfying answer?
I have the same problem with my Dyna FXDL 2002. After 30000 miles I wanted to grease the bearings, without removing the primary.
I think removal works, but mounting with the correct torque is the problem.
