Default Mustang vs Corbin - Backrest Brawl!

So I've done some searching around and reading reviews, but I've yet to see a pro/con or comparison between the Mustang seats with a backrest and the Corbin seats with a backrest.

Both offer them in a seat with a removable backrest function (required as I only want it for the longer hauls), but I've heard mostly positive reviews of the Mustang, with the Corbin's being slightly higher in price. (Some of the Mustang reviews have said that the seats can be a little "softer", especially around the sides/edges.)

Corbin only has one dealer, in CA, which is NOT going to be a trip from VA.

What are your thoughts between the two seats (not necessarily the backrest a themselves)? I like both styles of each, but is one "better"? (It would be one-up only.) Other than "just try 'em out", which really doesn't seem like an option, what do you all think?

Anything helps! Thanks!

I have both and they function well with their respective seats. The. Corbin back rest does not adjust as easy as the Mustang and you have to remove the seat to adjust. I have the 02SB version and I like the open oval shape as it fits my back well and the opening lets your back breathe in the summer heat. The Mustang back rest is more rectangular in shape. Both back rest materials match their seats so the seat selection should be your main criteria. They are not interchangeable with each other .

Have both but prefer the Corbin. They have a dealer in Florida as well.

The Corbin seat might be a bit stiff.

Corbin is like a brick but 10x as comfortable.
