2005 FXDCI - Bike came with it installed - has key fob with button. Lights flash but no sound....is this normal or should I have sound? If so where should it come from?

I think the siren is an add on.

 

It's a security system, not an alarm. There is no sound unless you add on the siren. Lights flash, but more importantly the starter is disabled. This will not prevent someone from rolling it away however.

I've seen people add a siren from Radio Shack for $6 from other forums. Supposed to be louder than the HD version WAY cheaper.

Look under your seat. I have the siren on 2001 FXDX. Battery is required also
