Finally broke down and bought a daymaker headlight. Walnut creek Harley has all led headlights on sale for 15% off all week. Not much of a discount but it was enough to get me to buy it. I didn't get any before pics, but I really like it. I justified buying the pricey light because I split lanes after dark and I'm hoping the whiter light will help me stand out more from the car lights.. Hope I didn't just jinx myself by saying that.. Sorry for the crappy garage pics
Edit: Does anyone know what the extra red wire that's not part of the 3 wire connector on the light is for?

I was on the phone during my last post so yeah, tape it off and don't worry about it, like I said, HDI models use it. In Europe their cars and bikes have a little light that you turn on if you park on a curb somewhere. I think it is that little bitty round pencil eraser sized light that would stay on for them.

I got a postcard that McGuire Harley Davidson moved from Walnut Creek to Pacheco. Did you get the light at the new location?
Is 15% off just the headlights or all stuff?
