Has anyone ever seen or done a WG that is slammed front and rear with Apes? This in my head looks good but I would like to see if it has been done. I have seen the WG with apes just not front and rear lowered. Any pics would be great.
Check out a thread called who's go the sickest wide glide, I'm pretty sure I saw one on there looks good. I was thinking about doing the Burly Slammers on my rear but don't have the money right now.
I've looked through that thread and seen some wicked rides just not slammed with apes. I saw slammed and I saw apes. Just not combined. I have the slammers on the rear of mine and I have the springs for the front. I'm just not sure about pulling the trigger for the apes.
Could you possibly use your imagination to visualize it? LOL!!
What size apes are you planning? I would search more for a pic of that to see what it will look like.
Oh I can vizualize it. lol!!!
I was looking at doing at least a 14" ape.
My problem is this, I do not like the lines of a WG with apes. Only thing is ape's seem to be more comfortable to me. So in my head if I lower the front of my bike it will actually shorten the wheelbase because the front wheel will move up and back closer to the bike. Giving it the look of a SB with a WG front end on it.
