Default Sparkplug indexing

Watched that fellow from Summit racing talking about the advantages of indexing sparkplugs so I thought I would try it myself. I don't know for sure but my buttdyno tells me that there might be a little something to it. The engine started quicker than I am accustomed to and it seemed to run slightly smoother. I don't know just thought I'd throw it out there.

If it makes you happy, go for it. I'm not going to waste my time doing it. Just my 2 cents.

As long as you're indexing, try side gapping as well. Hopefully it won't mess with the anti knock system. Did both years ago playing around with trucks. Not sure if they did anything though.

in a drag motor maybe yes , but for a every day bike just **** value, but if your happy , go for it.. but running a thinner oil in your bike will increase your hp figures too as the motor is not flowing a heavy oil around.

Not worth the effort.

Seems to be an American thing. Been in the racing scene in Europe for the past 35 years and never ever seen plugs indexed. Only ever came across it when reading about racing V8s in the US, and then only on very high compression engines where there is a flame groove in the piston crown.
