Default Insurance
Looking for some information on insurance. I live in Nova Scotia Canada and i,m being quoted an outrageous amount for insurance,$ 2400 for full coverage, $1000 just for liabillity. If anyone is out there from my province or any other province I would just like to know if this is a normal amount. It is hard to compare U.S.A. prices to Canada .

Even if that quote is Canadian money it is way high. I pay 700 a year for full coverage here in the states and I live in a densley populated traffic area. Sounds like you might be getting hosed hoser.

$328 for liability on 3 bikes for a year in Cali. with Geico cycle guard...

I pay a little ovre $500/yr full coverage for mine with Foremost. Got it through the dealer.

I live in NS too. The best rate for insurance I foud is with RBC. Get an online qoute here: http://www.rbcinsurance.com/canada.html
TD wasent to bad either.

the great socialist state of Massachusetts also wants nearly 2600.00 for full coverage on my streetbob! ....in MA, you can't use Geico, or Progressive, or any of those online insurance agents because MA insurance is so corrupt it isn't funny!
...it figures Canada would want the same.... they're health insurance, as it relates to the economy, functions much like the state of MA

...suffice to say, i'll be leaving soon! .....i hate this state
