Tank Emblem Relocation
Not sure how many others have tried this - I did a quick search and didn't yield any results so I thought I'd post this up - I'm really into how it turned out.
I pulled one of the emblems from my tank, cleaned it up and Plasti-Dipped it. I then drilled and tapped a small hole in the on the back of the emblem, and drilled a small clearance hole through my fender. I cut some thin foam out and backed the emblem up and bolted it down to my fender. I think it turned out great, and I am enjoying my bare tank look while still harboring the HD name.
