Anyone else have or heard of this Problem
07 Low Rider 1880 miles. Watched the tech put oil in all three holes at 1000 mile service, engine, primay, trans. Went on the Discover AZ Ride last Sunday. My house back to my house 333.3 miles. Checked oil before going was fine, cold bike half stick. Got back late to tired to do anything that night. So I checked it Monday after work, Engine oil over full mark on cold bike. I am glad I didnt check it on a hot engine it would have blown up in my face. Checked trans oil not even touching the stick. Now my lil girl is at a stealership (more then likly she is scared out of her tires) they cant get her on a lift untill the 3rd or the 4th cause of AZ bike week. And I am at home missing all the fun Any one else have or heard of this???? More then likly it is a failed gasket cause the trans drain plug goes through the oil pan.

Sounds like he never checked any of the fluids as he added them.
Did the tech put 3 quarts of oil in the engine ?
When you change the engine oil you're going to have some left in the motor, it's called a "wet" change.
He should have only put in 2.5 quarts and he should have check it.
I wonder how much oil is in the primary?
I don't know if there is a gasket between the tranny and engine. Only way to tell, if you don't have a manual, is to drain the engine oil and add tranny oil and see what happens.

RE: Anyone else have or heard of this Problem
Mike the man I use has been at this for over 30 years. I watched ever thing he did he even showed me on his meauseing cup how much he was putting in the trans and the primary. I have the service manual that is why I stated that it is more then likely a failed gasket. Was looking to see if anyone else has incountered this problem cause I am sure the stealership will try to say the same thing so they dont have to preform warrenty service. But thanks for your reply.

If there is something wrong with your new bike, your dealer should fix it under warranty.
I wouldn't let them tell me no. Go over their heads if you have to.
From now on you should change the oil yourself so you will always KNOW it was done right.
It isn't difficult to change at all.
Best of luck

Are you checking the tranny fluid with the bike level or leaned over?

Gotta check the tranny with the bike straight up vertical.
So maybe just stand the bike up straight, check the tranny.
Drain 1/2 qt out of the engine.
Same thing happened to me at the dealer on my 1000 mile service. Now, only 3 people I know are allowed to change the fluids............ Me, Myself, and I.
Good luck,
