Tranny Oil
Does engine have to be brought to operating temperature before changing transmission fluid? Service manual doesn't say but does for changing the primary chaincase oil and engine oil. Thanks!

Having the oil at operating temp will help it drain quicker and run out of some areas. It is a good idea. It does make me wonder why you would be changing the tranny oil and not the engine oil at the same time since you generally change engine oil more frequently than tranny oil.
