But you can also do auto tune with the Powervision alone and the standard 02 sensors. You don't need to buy the add on auto tune module unless you really want to.
yes but the narrow band sensors can only maintain the afr range of 14.3 to 15.2 for epa regulated closed loop operation. and takes along time to adjust. with the wide bands tuning time is very short and gets you into areas needed that the narrow bands cant provide.
Huh, I've always thought thought that the power vision was part of the power comander. It's got me intrigued now. Looks like I'm going to start more research on the two. Definetly not going to get the street tuner though. Mostly because eventually I do plan on doing engine work.

Power vision flashes factory ECM power commander piggy back off ECM and tricks factory settings to adjust which ever tuner you choose get one that flashes the factory ECM much better tune and don't have to worry about the factory ECM failing
Thanks for all the advice, I'm thinking the PC5 is the route I'm going to take then in a couple months get the auto tune kit and have the wide band bungs welded into the pipes.

That is correct, the factory narrow band sensors can only be used for closed loop at about 14.6 AFR. However they can also be used to adjust the VE descriptor tables as is done in autotuning. If your VE tables are fairly accurate the ECM can accurately estimate the airflow through the engine, open loop or closed.
I have the SS and PC5 and have never had any problem the bike runs great. If you are not going to work on the motor the PC 5 is the way to go I have a 2012 FXDC
