Default check engine light ??

I have an 07 Dyna with a fuel moto pc 3 and a custom map. I noticed that when you turn the key on the engine light comes on and then goes off. When you start the bike it comes back on for a few seconds and then off again. I never noticed that it did this, so my question is , is it normal to do this or not. Thought I would ask before I call Jammie at fuel moto

Your engine has thrown a code.

First thing you need to do is find out what code it has thrown.

Checking/clearing codes is something you can do yourself...here's how:

If you clear it and it doesn't come back...I wouldn't worry about it. It's a non-active code you can safely ignore if it's just a one time deal.

Thanks I cleared it. I read on the forum other have had the same problem after they washed there bike with water getting the relay wet. And just so happens I washed it the day it started it. I will pull the relay and clean it .
