Default Switchback Exhaust

I'm wondering if anyone knows the bolt size, length and thread of the four bolts that hold the OEM exhaust bracket to the frame. I went to the stealer today to get'em and they don't have one stinkin' bolt in stock. They told me its 6 weeks to get them.

I don't want to wait...the vance and hines pro pipe needs the OEM bracket to attach to and it was already removed once to mount the Samson pipes which are so loud, its only a matter of time before I'm pulled over. So, I want to get the Vance and Hines now, but no bolts. Thought I had'em but I don't.

So, if anyone knows the info on those, let me know. I'll go and buy'em.

Not sure off hand. I think I have the bolts & bracket just sitting in my basement.

take a look at this

http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche....EXHAUST-SYSTEM

if your dealer didn't give it the part number is
10200016

im thinking you could pull one of the others out
and go to lowes and match it up with an alan head
and just go 1/4" -1/2" longer to go through bracket

IMO don't wait for harley bolts the onse the sold me had allen button heads which were nearly impossible to tighten, I waited for those and then got the same bolt with hex head to fasten them witha wrench instead. It was a while back but 5/16ths thread X 3/4 " long rings a bell. I have a guy I can call tomorrow.

What I did find was the size for the 3 I need. They are 5/16-18x2 Hex flange head...does that sound about right? No luck on the one bolt...still looking.

Default Trade the switchback

I recently was offered a deal I couldn't refuse. HD offered me as much as I paid for the bike for a trade in value. I went for it and now own a shiny ne street glide.
I have some items I will be listing for sale soon!
