Default Dyna FXDX 2000 Rear Suspension Options

Have had a leaky REAR SHOCK (Right) for some time and am now ready to change the darn thing BUT don't know what to do next.

Is the ORIGINAL SHOCK ABSORBER Rebuildable, and if so where do we purchase the rebuild kit?

If not, I've seen that the only option that I have are PROGRESSIVE 440's, is that THE ONLY OPTION available to me within the 500.00 range that these progressive shocks go for. Would put a less expensive one but have not seen any that fit my particular make and model.

Thanks for anyone who has experience in this domaine.

Check out motorcycle metal..his name is Howard ..the shocks he sells are very high quality.i just put a set of 13 inch JRI "B" shocks on my 01 fxdl. ..bike rides sso much better and handles even better. .very happy with them and are rebuildable. .more cost than progressives but worth it
