So I want to upgrade my brake lines to braided. The rear length is 18", right?
I want to go all black, but can't find the entire line w/ black fittings.
To those that have to braided brake lines where did you get'em and any recommendations?
I've got the black pearl brake lines with black banjo fittings-all black. Go to the "build your own" part, put in the info from the ones with chrome that fit your bike-length, banjo size, etc and put black fittings on them. They will be considered a custom order and only take a few extra days.
Can't help you on the rear brake line length but I have the Harley braided lines up front and they have black fittings and are very high quality. I'm sure they come with a heavier price too but after 5 years they still look great and the extra $100 max I spent has been well worth it
Russel performance has a line called "renegade". The lines are a transparent black, almost a smoked black colour with the fittings being black chrome. I used these on my chopper that I built. They work and look great.
I also used the black lines and fittings from Mid-West motorcycle supply on my FXDXT with no problems.
Thanks for the options fellas. I will either go with Goodridge, Magnum, or Russell.
It's impossible to find solid info online for the rear length though. Next step of mine will be to get some sort of thin rope and place it against the rear line then measure it after i run the length of the rear hose.
