what a difference a day makes
Yesterday (Friday) was an awesome day in the Portland/Vancouver area. As luck would have it, my wife and I both got a half day at work, so we were off and riding by about 2:30.
We have friends that live about an hour away, so we headed off... backroads the whole way... twisties, open straights, warm weather, waving to the other bro's going by, green grassy fields, cow and horse smells, bugs.... friggen awesome day.
We got to our friends house, hung out for a while, then headed back home. Stopped in a small town near our house (we live in the Cascade foothills outside Vacouver), and had dinner at a really good Mexican restaraunt.
Got all filled up and headed home through a 12 miletwistie canyon than leads to our place (I love the drive home BTW).
Last night as I was looking at the weather report for today, it said "partly cloudy, 72"... I'm like, ok, that looks good. Wifey says "if you get your chores done early enough, we can go back out" (typical wifey thing huh?). Anyway, I'm like, "OK, well, lets not f around all morning then".
I get up and 6:30 this morning and its friggen raining. WTF!!!???!!! man, Spring inthe the pacific northwest is reallly reallly frustrating.
At least we had a good Friday afternoon (get it "good Friday")
peace
