Default Lowering a Dyna

I've been searching for info and can't seem to find the answers to some of my questions, so I'm gonna fire some out here.

I'm thinking about lowering my Dyna (Bob) in the rear. How muchwork is involved? Is is just a matter of bolting on some smaller shocks? Do I have to adjust the rear fender at all? I have no experience working on bikes, but I'm handy enough to get **** done. Would I need any special tools?

I've ridden a Low Rider which was dropped down, and except for scraping the pegs every now and then, I didn't mind the ride at all, so I'm not too concerned aboutsacrificing comfort.

If you've got a link to a post on here that covers this, that'd be great. Any helpfrom some of you experienced guys/gals would be a big help too.

Thanks for any comments,

Ray.

Excellent.

Is your front end stock height? I'm wondering if by only lowering the rear end if I'm opening myself up for handling problems?

Thx again, your input is much appreciated .... Especially for a Newbie like me

Ray.

I used 11.5 Progressive 440's. It sits slighty lower than the LowRiders do.
I ride two up often and nothing has bottomed out yet. I did scrape the pipe mount on the rt going pretty fast in a corner though.

Arlen Ness makes a set of bolt ons that will lower you down one inch. They are easy to put on and look good to. Put a little black paint on bolt heads, they might rust alittle if u don't, or buy chrome ones .I have pictures of mine here but I don't know how to move them.Look for super glide sport(ziggy)on page 2
