I have been kicking around the idea of powder coating my rims black but last night while wheel shopping for my Mustang I came across Black Chrome rims. HAs anyone seen these yet for a bike and if so who makes them. I think a 21" Black chrome wheel with gunmetal spokes and a matte black powdercoatedhub would look sick on my bike. Any ideas would be apreciated.

 

I was watching American Thunder the other day and they had some of Performance-Machines' new wheels on there and they had a couple different styles similair to what your talking about. (black and chrome combo) Check out their web-site and you might find something.
Those are cool wheels, would look awesome on a black bike.

 

Yeah but thats one company I'll never be able to afford to buy from lol. I'm just looking for a stock styled spoked wheel. Thanks for the tip though.

 

I noticed that progressive is now offering black chrome shocks as well.

I bet prettymuch any chromer can do the Black Chrome now. A bob totally swapped over to black chrome would be sick....

 

I wanna do the rims first to see if I like it then I had thought about soing some other parts ie. fender struts forward controls etc.

 

i was also at a cycle shop yesterday that had black chrome directions signals that are just like the stock ones. they looked nice. about 21 bucks a piece.

Don't theydo black anodized powder coating? It would probley look similar.
